Hotel Du Pont Vieux Carcassone, Carcassone

My stay at the hotel was lovely. The rooms were very spacious and clean with a breathtaking view of La Cite through my window. While the room was a bit small, it was more than adequate for a couple of nights. The street noise outside was quite loud, though. The service was exceptional, as the staff were very helpful with advice on local restaurants and booking taxis. They even waived the first night fee for our friends who had to cancel last minute. The location was perfect, nestled between the new town and La Cite, with plenty of restaurants and cafes within a five-minute walk. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a French buffet that was well laid out and ample. The facilities were great, and the facilities were excellent.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, walking distance from all the major Roman sites in downtown Arles. The rooms were pretty, although small with a steep staircase, so not ideal for those with mobility issues. The service was outstanding, very friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and even going the extra mile to email me when I forgot something. The dining experience was very good, especially in the beautiful garden setting. Overall, a great value for money.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, but there was a strong smell of dog the first night, making it a bit unpleasant. Despite feeling somewhat cramped, the bed was delightful, very comfy, and the bathroom was great, with a good shower.
